I’ll start with an issue I’m for ever coming across with the Amdega Conservatories and it’s the same old same old Gutter problem, blocked up with leaves and muck from the summer trees and bushes then the rain water outlets and downpipes get blocked immediately and if the gutters are not cleared out regularly this rubbish can go rock hard in the bottom and start to fill up the gutter even more and this causes further problems as the gutters and Gutter Components on an Amdega Conservatory are put together using a Silicon sealant and stainless steel bolts,

Now these sealants will break down in time and will release the water from the gutters down your lovely side frames or even worse it will collect above your coving or dentil moulding rotting the timber head behind these components of which is or can be an expensive job to repair if not sorted out quickly and why...? because the gutters are not cleared regularly. Just simple maintenance can save money and your Amdega Conservatory's life so when your window cleaner is cleaning the windows get him to clear the gutters out..

Signs  of Leaking Gutter Components and what to look for:

  1. Drips of water coming from the corners or gutter couplers
  2. Brown staining just below the guttering down the side frames or posts
  3. Rotting Cills
  4. Staining coming from beneath the Dentil or Cornice Moulding
  5. Joints opening up with paint blistering away from the timbers
